This project consists of adding a commons area to the existing school and building a new structure. In addition to installing 250 squares of AEP Span Mini-V Beam wall panels, we also installed 12 squares of Hardie soffit, clad metal flashings for the single ply roof, MD Sheet Metal custom gutters, downspouts and seismic joints.
This roof has AEP Span's Klip Rib panel installed. All the radius fascia and gutter were made with a CNC machine and put together with a Snap Lock flange. The gutters are fabricated with MD Sheet Metal's 7" commercial gutter machine. The steel downspouts were also fabricated by MD Sheet Metal.
This is a small project with a variety of different panels. We used AEP Span Design Span panels for both the walls and the roof. We also installed AEP Span Nu Wave panels and PS12 panels at the soffits and Firestone UnaCore composite panels at the entries. The gutters were fabricated by MD Sheet Metal.
This school had several different wall panel profiles from AEP Span. We installed 235 squares of HR36 wall panels, 385 squares of Square Batten wall panels, 85 squares of Mini V Beam wall panels, 35 squares of Flush Panel soffit panels and 45 squares of Design Span roof panels. We also installed 10 squares of KPS Composite Panels. In addition to the panels, we installed the plastic skylights and curbs, expansion joints, wall anchors, seismic joints, Sch 40 steel downspouts and MD Sheet Metal custom gutters.
Marvista Elementary is a project that we took over from another subcontractor. We installed 3 different types of Metal Sales panels. There is 60 squares of soffit panels and 185 squares of wall panels in the TLC panel. On the conical, covered-play area roof we installed 16sq of the Batten Seam panel and on the building roof we installed 650 squares of their Vertical Seam. As certified installers of this roofing system, we were able to provide a 20-year weathertight warranty.
On this project, we installed 60 squares of AEP Span Span Lok roof panels. This is a mechanically seamed panel with a 2" high rib. We also had our carpenters install 36 squares of a cedar siding rain screen and 6 squares of cedar soffit. The 68 squares of grey material is Slatescape Extreme. A composite panel that gives the appearance of natural sheets of slate.
