These two buildings are additions to the existing school. Our sheet metal installers put on all the clad metal for the single-ply roof system as well as the flashings integrated with the cement fiber board. Our carpenters installed the cement fiber boards, cement fiber batts and all the wood trim integrated with the CFB assembly.
The roof system for this school is AEP Span's Span Lock panel. This is a mechanically-seamed panel that is primarily used for low-sloped roofs. There are three barrels roofs that cover the main corridor and three fan roofs at the main entry. We also installed AEP Span's Mini-V Beam panel on the body of the school and their PS-12 Flush Panel in select locations.
On this project, we installed Cement Fiber Board made by James Hardie for the first time. The Beige and Berry wall panels are McElroy's Mega-Rib and supplied by Architectural Metal Solutions. The light-colored panels on both the interior and exterior are McElroy's 7/8" Corrugated supplied by AMS. The roof panels were run on site by AMS and installed by our crew. MD Sheet Metal fabricated all of the flashing for this project including the Galvalume flashing around the CFB and the welded, tube steel downspouts.
On this school we installed Architectural Metal Solution's Snap-Lock panels. This is a UL90 rated panel that is site-run to exact length. We also installed AEP Span's Mini-V Beam wall panel. Our carpenters installed the cement fiber board provided by James Hardie.
